The Dave’s difference starts with the way we buy our retail vehicles. We personally check each car over for damage 3 to 4 days before the bidding starts, giving us a true idea of just what the vehicle has for issues. Based on those results, we bid on selected vehicles and see what kind of deal we can get to help give you the customer the best buy possible. After we have purchased those vehicles, they are then inspected by a third-party to insure quality. These vehicles are inspected for frame damage, uni-body damage, transmission and engine problems, air-conditioning, 4 wheel drive and the general condition of the vehicle. If the vehicles do not pass the inspection, they are arbitrarily sent back. For the remaining, they are loaded up onto carriers and set for their temporary home at Dave’s Auto Sales.
After reaching the dealership, some of the bigger differences take place. A full inspection of the vehicle with our sales department, body shop expert and mechanic takes place. Dave personally test drives them all and vehicles are then brought up to Dave’s standards. Anything that needs to be fixed, is fixed, right then, not after someone buys the vehicle and has a 50/50 warrantee to contend with. We know it’s not always possible, but our goal is that EVERY customer we deliver a vehicle too, will only have to return to the dealership for routine maintenance.
We make every effort to make a sale a true trouble free buying experience for our customers. We cover each vehicle with a 5 year/100,000 mile warrantee backed by Bank of America. We protect not only our customer, but ourselves too with this coverage. It is beneficial to all and could make all the difference down the road. We also do a CARFAX report on any and all vehicles at the customers request to help ensure the purchase quality. We try our hardest to protect all involved and guarantee superiority in every vehicle.
We also tend to sell newer used vehicles such as 04, 05 & 06 year models… many still under factory warrantee. We even assist our customers with any and all factory warrantee problems. New car dealers with the shops that will handle these warrantee issues do not usually have the availability to give loaners or the need to want to cater to our customers the way we do. This is where we come in once again…we will have you drop the car here, or we will pick it up from you, which ever is convenient, and we will give you a loaner and take your car for the appointment. When the car is done…we will bring it to you, or you can pick it up. Easy as that… You pay for your car to be able to use it…so you should be able to use a vehicle when yours is temporarily down. We try to think of it all and do what is necessary to make you happy.
The entire Dave’s staff are customers at one point or another and we know how we like to be treated…so we take it seriously…we treat the customer with respect and try to make the process smooth and worry-free.
